Gray Robinson Won’t Let You “Ruin Tennessee”

From first putting pen to paper and writing her first song at the age of 13, Gray Robinson couldn’t dream of a future without music front and center. Robinson’s first trip to Nashville and visit of Belmont University, made her realize that the music city was the perfect place to chase down her outsized dreams. Since moving to Nashville, Robinson has continued to hone her craft and credits her willingness “to keep learning and writing and writing even more,” as she has quickly become one of Nashville’s fastest rising stars.

Molding an eclectic “blend of country and pop,” Robinson leans into her roots as a “traditional storyteller” while experimenting with “some pop melodies and energy,” in search of a unique musical style and vibe. Robinson’s latest single, Ruin Tennessee encapsulates what makes Robinson such a special artist. The high-energy, empowering breakup track, is a best of both worlds creation, giving listeners from around the genre spectrum something to enjoy thoroughly.

Robinson has learned to use social media as a tool to promote her music, while first reluctant to join Tiktok, Robinson “has been amazed by what an app can do for a career.” Several of Robinson’s songs have gone viral on the app which has instilled an extra layer of confidence with her as she continues to chase down her wildest dreams.

Robinson calls Ruin Tennessee “an intro into the year ahead,” where she plans to release new music throughout, including a new single, Fireworks which will be available this Friday, July 1st.
