Review: Caitlin Quisenberry “I Will, I Swear, I Do

Striking the balance between idealism and realism, I Will, I Swear, I Do uses lyrical contrast to paint a time tested story of love and loyalty.

Written by Ben Simonetti, Kelly Archer, and Mackenzie Porter and performed by rising star, Caitlin Quisenberry, I Will, I Swear, I Do goes beyond the materialism often associated with modern day love. The chorus is stooped in this idea that true love, or rather, this love will overcome any potential material shortcomings. Whether they’re drinking “fine red wine” or “Pabst Blue Ribbon” it doesn’t matter because the love they have is true and pure.

Although, she’s not listed as a writer on this song, Caitlin Quisenberry drives home this ingenious hook as if it were stolen straight from her brain. Quisenberry’s smooth and authentic vocal carry this song to another level. The infectious hook mixed with Quisenberry’s genuine and relatable vocal combine to make this song a true show stopper.
